Syntactic Pattern Recognition Approach:
1 - Finite alphabet is defined.
2 - Sentence is a collection of alphabet symbols.
3 - Language is a collection of infinity number of sentences.
Alphabet: Note Heads, Steams, Beams, etc.
First step - recognition of Note Head.
Second step - recognition of Steam. Pre-decision: 1/4 note duration.
Third step - recognition of Beam. Final decision: 1/8 note duration.
